I love choices, and the ability to have a choice. Ah, but what happens if my choice is questioned?
Observe...
A writer writes a story, posts it for all to see, and requests no concrit.
A reader critiques it anyway.
A writer rebukes, and states that they write for entertainment only.
Reviewers state that they have the right to critique a story if they choose. The story is in the public eye.
Writers argue that the story is not a professional published piece of work.
Reviewers argue that it doesn't matter. The writer should expect any type of review. Negative or positive.
Writers state that the negative critiques do not help the writer become better writers.
Reviewers state that the reviews are not always for them.
Writers state that the reviewers are influencing other readers as to whether or not they should read the writer's stories.
Reviewers argue that they have the freedom to write whatever they want in their own journal.
Writers are hurt.
Reviewers publicly mock the writers and call them names. Shpeshul snowflakes. Sensitive tulips. Wilting flowers.
Writers defend themselves.
And the arguments start all over again.
And then the wank begins...
So I guess the only choice a writer has is to either lock up their stories, or STFU and put their 'big girl panties' on.
*snorts*
Well, since I'm not a BFN, and I won't STFU, and I always stick up for the underdogs, I guess that makes me a shpeshul fucking snowflake, doesn't it? Critique ME, beotches. I don't give a fuck.

I cannot believe that the wanking has started again! *shakes head* I wonder if the perpetrators do it just because they thrill on starting shit (which is my guess), or if they think that they are so high and mighty that everyone else are mere peons, and not worthy of being in fandom.
Cow Wanker #1: "Hey, let's ruin someone's name in fandom!"
Cow Wanker #2: "Great idea! Let's also get rid of all the shpechal, wilting flowers out there! We'll slam all of them in our 'critiques' and make them cry!"
Cow Wanker #3: "Brilliant! Then all the BNFs can rule the fandom once again!"
All Cow Wankers: "Yay!"
So-called "Wilting Flower" Authors: "Hey! Back off! You're forcing a lot of authors to leave the fandom!"
All Cow Wankers: "We don't fucking care! We have the 'freedom' to do whatever we want!"
My response: "Go fuck yourself, cows, and get a life."
Btw, anyone taking offense to this post is probably a Cow Wanker.
